UFP teacher wins 2012 Ernesto de Sousa Scholarship

Ana Carvalho, a teacher at UFP’s degree programme in Communication Sciences, has won the 2012 Ernesto de Sousa Scholarship, which will allow the development of a new artistic project at the Experimental Intermedia Foundation (EIF) in New York City, from October to December 2013.
The Ernesto de Sousa Scholarship programme is supported by the Luso-American Foundation (FLAD) and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (FCG) and is annually awarded to the best original project in the field of experimental intermedia art.
The designation of “experimental intermedia creation” encompasses any creative proposal associating image, sound and movement, within a perspective of research and innovation, which has the finality of a performance.
